Last week, I had the honor of chairing the \u00ab\u00a0Industrial Digital Transition\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> session at the Icam International Research Days 2025 (#2IRD2)<\/strong>, held on the vibrant Strasbourg-Europe campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over two intense and inspiring days, the event brought together a diverse community of researchers, PhD students, faculty, industry experts, and international partners<\/strong> to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and co-create the future of research and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Icam International Research Days is more than just a conference; it’s a collaborative platform<\/strong> that highlights the growing importance of applied research and international cooperation. As someone deeply involved in bridging academia and industry<\/strong>, chairing a session dedicated to digital transformation in industrial contexts<\/em> was both a privilege and a responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session I chaired focused on one of the challenges of our time: how to guide industrial ecosystems through digital transformation while maintaining human values, environmental responsibility, and operational excellence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We explored key topics, such as those we can see in the program Link<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a session chair, I was proud to facilitate exchanges that weren\u2019t just technical, but also strategic and visionary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
